hmmmm... that's an interesting contrast of words. I thought that you would spell busyness with an 'I' instead of a 'Y', and it came out business. Weird.....
anyways, I've been insanely busy with the band stuff lately. We got into the studio last week and spent 14½ hours straight in the studio. We still aren't even done with our 6 track either!!! We never even had the chance to tackle ANYTHING with vocals. So, we have to go back this friday to see if we can finish that up. We got like a half minute mixdown of what we did, and it already sounds fucking choice! Our engineer handed it to us with this look on his face like "I hope you guys aren't mad at how this sounds" and it's incredible already. He says that after all the tracking is done, the final mixdown and and mastering will make it sound 10 times better than it does already!!! I can't believe/wait for that!!! We played a gig on Saturday night. It went VERY VERY well. Everyone LOVED 'Someday'. That's my personal new favorite song of ours too. The studio mp3s should be up on the website as soon as they are ready. We are playing again tonight at good ol' 602 North. That should be pretty cool. 1-2-3-4-5-6-7 BURY MY DREAMS!!!!! (sorry.... from the song I'm listening to).
Other than that, things are going pretty well. I love Carolyn more than ever. I just wish I could get to see her a little more than I do now.
Oh yeah!!! I'm going to 3 shows at the Metro in the spance of 5 days!!! Blank Theory (www.blanktheory.com) on Friday night; Chimaira (www.chimaira.com) on Monday night; and MESHUGGAH/STRAPPING YOUNG LAD (www.meshuggah.net / www.strappingyounglad.com) on Tuesday night!!!!!!! The best part: all 3 concerts will set me back a grand total of $35!!! FUCK YEAH!!!!
