so it was a loooooong weekend

I had fun for most of it tho, except for the fact that I'm sick now. I think I got sick from those couple nights that I slept with the window open. I got to spend a lot of quality time with my Carolyn this weekend. It was nice. However, it wasn't without its kinks on Saturday. First off, my good-for-nothing brother was over, and basically down-talking my new band, and letting me know that Immune is continuing with a new drummer. Whatever.... lets just see about that. Secondly, Brett, Ashley's little brother, decided to stop over in the evening. I have no idea why. He just likes to pop in sometimes. So that was cool and all. Then, I offered to give him a ride home. I commented that I bet his sister and mother would be thrilled to see my car pull up outside of their house again. He said that neither were home, and that they weren't gonna be home for at least another hour. So Carolyn and I drove him and his friend home. When we got there, he asked if I wanted to come in and see my dog (it's my dog cuz I fucking paid for it!). The dog went completely nuts, as usual. I hadn't seen her since the week before Christmas, which was the last time I was at Ashley's house. So, I was playing with the dog when guess who came out of her room. Yeah.... she was there. I had walked right into the lair of the snake. At first, I didn't even say hi. She looked about as stunned as I was that we were in the same place at the same time. She clamored out a 'Hi Mike'. I just said 'hi' and didn't even look at her. The dog continued to go nuts, and I kept playing with her for a minute. Then I got the pleasure of introducing Carolyn to Ashley. holy shit.... talk about the last thing I EVER wanted to happen. Of course, after the introduction, Ashley made sure to mention something about her new bf, to brett of course. It's not like she'd actually have the backbone to say something about him directly to me. Then, she tried calming the dog down, which of course didn't happen. That dog absolutly loves me to death. She tried to pick Lily up, and Lily jumped out of her arms and ran right back to me. So, having seen that the dog STILL loves me more than her, I took advantage of the timing and decided to leave. I wasn't even going to say goodbye. Carolyn said 'it was nice meeting you' and surprisingly, Ashley said the same back. Then she said 'Bye Mike' and, to come full circle, I said 'bye' without even looking at her. fuck... what a fucking day. Not only did I see 2 people that I never want to see again, but I talked to both of them more than I have in the last 2-4 months!!!!! FUCK!

yeah well.. I'm tired. The weekend sucked and I'm sick.
