Netflix is awesome!
My queue has about 150 movies in it. Right now, I am going through "the UP Series". It's really good. This director, Michael Apted picked 14 different kids from different socioeconomic backgrounds in England and made a documentary on them when they were 7 in 1964. He has followed them and kept in touch and interviews them again every seven years. I just got done with "7 Up", "7 plus seven" and "21 Up". It's really interesting to see their views on different topics at different ages and to see how their ideas and thoughts have changed or in a couple of cases, stayed the same. Some of them haven't turned out as you would have expected. Some are happier, some are sadder. I was surprised at the outcome of a couple of the kids. I can't wait until the rest come out. They finished "49 Up" a few years ago. I'm gonna recommend it to my parents because they grew up in England at the same time as these kids. I thought that the idea and concept was really unique and something completely different, unlike anything ever done before. I really liked "7 UP". The kids are really cute, and say the darndest things.
