This city seriously worries me sometimes
So I just had one of the craziest nights ever at work...
First, the Amber Alert. We normally find the missing child within 2 or 3 minutes. This one took 5 or 6, mainly because his siblings knew where he was but didn't think to tell their mother.
Second, someone stole anywhere from 200 to 18,000 redemption tickets out of one of the video games. It didn't help that our new guy seemed to make it easy for them by forgetting to lock the game when he opened.
Third, and final, was the attempted rape victim (who also happened to be very visibly pregnant). She stumbled into our front door, completely naked aside from a white sports bra. What's worse is the guy followed her inside while there were three of us standing there! He was promptly arrested by the off-duty police officer who happens to be our security.
