Life has gotten really entertaining lately.
Today was my rescheduled job interview. I really, really want it. I was one of 6 candidates interviewed, and they were making a decision on their top 3 today. I did relatively well in the interview and am hopeful. In the end, it was awesome to have made it to the interview, but ugh do I dislike my current job.
I had forgotten how much I love living by myself.
My step-sister rsvp'd for the Day of Silence.
My sisters being on facebook make me feel old. They're still supposed to be babies.
Something I haven't done in some time:
"Purple with them is more paltry than red ochre; (and justly, ) for what legitimate honour can garments derive from adulteration with illegitimate colours? That which He Himself has not produced is not pleasing to God, unless He was unable to order sheep to be born with purple and sky-blue fleeces! If He was able, then plainly He was unwilling: what God willed not, of course ought not to be fashioned. Those things, then, are not the best by nature which are not from God, the Author of nature. Thus they are understood to be from the devil, from the corrupter of nature: for there is no other whose they can be, if they are not God's; because what are not God's must necessarily be His rival's." - Tertullian, On the Apparel of Women
Oh, early church fathers, how I have missed thee. I'm relatively fond of Tertullian. Dyed wool: obviously of the devil.
