Finally I did call him. His phone rang five times and then went to voice mail. “You’ve reached the voice mail of Augustus Waters,” he said, the clarion voice I’d fallen for. “Leave a message.” It beeped. The dead air on the line was so eerie. I just wanted to go back to that secret postterrestrial third space with him that we visited when we talked on the phone. John Green
Despite the fact that I have pledged to read the printed word, it was undeniably tempting for me to read this piece online by John Green and I must say I enjoyed it wholesomely. Am really impressed by his writing and the amount of knowledge he transmits into this book and how he takes the effort to help his readers understand more about cancer and its medical terms. I admit I envy the way the characters are so comfortable with one another and how easy it is for one to fall in love - though it's lame to envy over fictional characters and their fictional life. Nevertheless, his books never disappoint so I cannot wait to get my hands on my own hard copy of TFIOS.
