Day 1 was a success!
• only undergrad in molecular bio and genomics class, midterm/final, and a few article presentations, new young male professor, class seems discussion-based, up-to-date, and v. applicable
• prof didn't show up for social psych, he's an African guy with a click in his name, Mbu(click)e, syllabus doesn't look too bad, read reading for the week already, midterm/final, and four 6 page journal entries, plus Dene and Emmy are in class.
• love my prof for dev psych II, she's either a French woman or north African with an awesome accent, midterm/final, and the readings aren't that bad, I did the first two weeks readings tonight cause she said stuff would pile up fast, we watch movies on Fridays and do HS-like activities in class on those days, plus Katie Taylor and Lattner are in class.
• start at 9, done at 12, lunch, then yb office for the remainder of the day. Racked up $4,000+ total for baby ad sales and have to do proofs tomorrow.
Animal Behavior tomorrow at 10:50, then my most looked forward to class EVER - Intro to Cognitive Neuroscience: Mind & Brain from 6-8:40. Then my last formal chapter meeting as VPCO. :'( This might take a while to get used to...
Only other class is Endocrinology on Wed night from 6-8:40, then rush workshop on Sat from 10-4. Ice skating with the Ass Hall girls either Fri or Sat night. Can't wait for this!
Matt comes home on Sunday night, and I don't have school on Monday! Woohoo! :-D
Hitting the sack early! G'night!
EDIT: Oooh, I almost forgot. I got the Order of Omega scholarship! It isn't much $, but I'm psyched considering the number of people who applied from chapters all over. Plus, for just technically being initiated, it isn't that bad! Go me! Now if only the med schools would start inviting me for interview... pft.
Oh, yeah... my sis sent this to me. HILARIOUS! Enjoy -
