The Justice League Calendars are here and they look awesome!!! I'm posting a couple of pictures if you want one let me know. I don't want to post a pic of every month because I want there to be some surprise LOL The wall calendars are $9 and the Desktop ones are $4 If you want want let me know. Looks fantastic, very professional! :D I swear they should hire a fan, pay them in merchandise or BtS video or photos, or even just a credit and get them to redo the show's promo, which Brian says costs a fortune which we know can be done by fans with cut clips, computer dazzle and a few hours. ;P

I saw a Season 10 titles promo and thought this thing is better than the actual. :D

I hate to be like this but, is this legal? Those pics are copyrighted to the CW, I'm sure it's okay to use them for your own stuff but selling them might get you into trouble.

Please don't take this the wrong way. The calendars are lovely but it's still fan art using copyrighted photos so... yeah.

They're not being sold, though Corina can correct me if I'm wrong, she's not making a profit on these. They're simply paying for the price of the materials to have the calendar itself made.

I'm sure if they really wanted to they could probably impose copyright laws, but considering it's not really being abused, nor are they trying to market a product like this themselves, I doubt it will be an issue.

I'm not trying to blow off your concerns, but rather to soothe your worries. It's highly unlikely the CW is going to pay for an attorney to prosecute for maybe a dozen fan calendars being distributed.

They tend to be pretty supportive of fan endeavors - they're not blind to all the people who make art or t-shirts, etc... Heck, they're probably signing them at Comic-Con.

A friend tried to make me a Star Trek mug for my birthday (she lives in the USA) and she was told that they were banned from using copyrighted images at that printer, so she freaked out about that. I'm just concerned that Cor and her friend might get into trouble. I guess if they're not making a profit it'll just be a "no harm, no foul" situation, right?

I would think so, but I wouldn't guarantee.

As for the Star Trek mug... ?! I've never heard of that before, lol. My recommendation? Do it online. There are tons of places available to order it yourself now. Heck, I found places where people have created all sorts of fan goodies for Gilmore Girls... I keep meaning to order some... crap. Now I can't find the product I wanted. My mother tried to get copies made of her wedding photos and the salesperson tried to refuse her by saying they don't duplicate professional photos. My mother had to make her realize that they *looked* professional, but were not printed on studio paper. They'd simply been taken by a relative who happens to be good at photography.
