FROSTY THE SHOWMAN
First of all I want to apologize to you guys. This LJ is filled with typos....but you know me...and I don't like proof reading and I think faster than I type...and the fact that i type fast doesn't help. So ONTO FROSTY>>>
10: I star my day off at ten. I got my haircutearly in the morning and I realized that Carter was going to be at the Suntrust near my hairdressers. So I headed to SunTrust and I hung out with Carter for like 30 minutes. CANdice and I did that is....after she got lost and went to the wrong PUBLIX.
11ish: After SunTrust we went to my house and I changed a bajillion times and then we went for lunch at Chili's.
12ish: We left Chili's and hurried o WalMart to get stuff only to realize that "kenneseee" was too far from "mt. vernon hwy" and we wouldnt make it in time to see JC. WE decided to go to the venue.
1:30ish-6ish: It might have been earlier. I think this marked the longest five hours of my life. Guys this was seriosuly worse than phantom planet...it was cold, rainy and the Claymates were nice...exept for a select few little witches with capital B's. Anyway I'm just going to jumble up the entire line wait in this segment. So after the rain started coming down hard this dude....keep in mind this IS downtown ATL so tihs is not out of the norm....he comes around selling $10 ponchos. Who the hell would buy a poncho for $10?!?! Not me....I mean remember guys I AM a broke college student...so I was like "Um no thanks Id rather get sick over spending $10 for a poncho." and she started calling me Britney Spears...and the Claymates started calling me Britney after that...I guess it's because you know no of them knew my name. Candice and I did make some friends in line..Shea and Dara and the nice umbrella lady...OH YEAH! MISTY AND TERRY (Pillowcase terry) were standing near us!
New paragraph...we were counting down the hours/minutes and we all knew even though doors were at 6...that it would be after 6 when they opened the doors. (It was) Somebody in line goes "Well if we are going by Bert time then it wont be till after 6:45 and I found that soooo amusing. Simply because the fact that I hate when Bert takes his time getting to the good stuff and I have to go to class. I tihnk Phil Terrana had come outside to do some sound recording stuff...and he was neglecting us Michelle fans so out little section had to redo the clay fan and I jsut shouted "michelle" instead of Clay and one of the few evil Claymates kicked me in the knee with ehr heel! IT was aspikey heel to! Ok so I was about to fall over inside the venue because as soon as they opened the doors people started pushing...dude I have gone to boy band shows before....um no i havn't...anyways this was ten times worse...the pushing was insane and it didnt help the fact that the stairs were slippery....
INSIDE: I had to stalk Dylan (sorry Dylan) but I need to know what the MB deal was. Now lets go back a few lines....I forgot to mention that I was wearing chucks outside....so like literally when iwas standing near Dylan I dont think I had any energy in me to stand up. When I wnet to go find Candice I think I almost fell down the stairs...I sat on the stairs in the balcony because there was like literally no empty seats...then this guy left so I sat in his seat...but then this couple with their little kid came so I let them have the seat. Oh yeah Mapple remembered me! Mark I was wearing chucks soaked in 5 hour rain ;)
Mike B and Andre Perry- Freaking awesome mixing...lacked the MB but thats ok.
Fefe Dobson: OVerall her performance was awesome. She is GREAT on stage...I'm really not into her songs tho. Score: 7.5/10
Black Eyed Peas: They were okay. The songs were so-so I heart "where is the love" and that rocked. Oo I forgot to mention Jermaine Dupree introduced them. I'd give them an overall score of 8/10
Clay Aiken: eh. Poor clay was sick, but I personally do not care for his music. The claymates were getting to me by this point. Clay gets a score slightly higher than I would have given him only because he was sick. Score: 5/10
JC: My old favorite *N Syncer. That boy NEEDS a haircut.Hisperformance was well....interesting...and I would have liked to see more male dancers...haha...JC must love sex and half naked women..Score: 8/10
THOMAS: I MET THOMAS!!! THOMAS MY HERO THOMAS! I was so happy 'cause I looked over and I thought it was him and I wasn't sure, but I've embarassed myself a lot by asking random people if they are other people....so I asked him if he worked for the station and he was like "yeah" and I go "Who are you" or something like that. and he said "Thomas" and I think my eyes lit up! I was so excited because I could finally fix #2 on his top ten list haha. Thomas am I as big of dork as you might have thought?
Michelle Branch: haha. wow. i get to praise now. I had been waiting for this since October. Poor Meech was sick tho. I could tell, but I guess that's because I'm so used to what she normally sounds like live and what she sounded like tonight. That plus Dylan had told me she was sick. YEah Michelle was awesome. I have a set list I wrote and she played 8 songs. I loved the way she played "Everywhere" it seriously kicked. I was quite shocked when she drank the BUD. So I decided because Michelle kicked ass she deserved an 11, but then the BUD thing kinda shocked me so she lots a point for drinking underage. Score 10/10 PERFECT!
I want to thank Q100 for a kick ass night! It was a lot of fun.
I think my sweatshirt deserved a prize for silliest shirt at a Q100 Event!
Front: I "heart" q100 Back: Tickets to Frosty the Showman $40. Stuff to make "i ehart q100" sweatshirt $6, skipping class to buy frosty tickets PRICELESS. For some things in life there is $$$ for all the good stuff there is Q100.
Also. I know I put this on my website BUT I wastelling Candice how you know normally you think of DJs and you dont think they are that pretty/hot. Q100 does not abide by that...I think if there was an award for best looking radio staff it should go to q100. Like I said....normally you think fat and ugly like a certain morning show in atlanta that will remain nameless **** & ***** but no names people....candice was mean and said like "jeff d" but i yelled at her.
