(no subject)
tonight i made a thanksgiving dinner for matt and i. he can't head to the so fla because he has to work (boo) and i didn't want him to go without thanksgiving. it turned out absolutely amazing (yay for some rachel ray inspired tips, mashed potatoes from a box, gravy from a packet, and crescent rolls). he helped me make the stuffing and we took a ton of pictures. it meant alot to him. he kept telling me how happy he was that i made everything he likes from thanksgiving dinner (and showed him how amazing stuffing can be). while he never admitted it before, he's really sad he can't go home. he also thought he might not have had a big thanksgiving dinner. it was way fun.
tomorrow i'm driving home to have thanksgiving with my family. friday will be shopping adventure (yay!!!). saturday is granny's 80th birthday fiesta and the big game. sunday i'll drive back. i'm really gonna miss matt, and he'll miss me. he doesn't want me to go (he's so sweet and cute and all those mushy things sometimes). i'm sad i won't be able to watch the game with him, but i will get to watch with my mom (also funtimes).
in other news (since i'm here): school is crazy. sometimes i like everything, sometimes not so much. but i am getting through it one day at a time by planning my next steps. spring semester next year will be filled with me writing my masters thesis. i'm kinda nervous about that, but really excited at the same time. i'm actually working on a project for a class that will be a starting point for the thesis. post masters program = phd program. i'm already looking at schools and planning trips to visit said schools. this also involves checking out some law schools for matt.
i'm off to dry my last load of laundry. guess i'll have to pack in the morning. and do dishes. and get the house cleaned up a little. and watch the parade. and spend time with matt. and figure out how my bluetooth works. and stuff.
