wow its been ages since an update!
well its that time of year again, for sleepless nights full of bullshitting and extreme writing sessions. however, im meloncholy for the fact this time around, i have no roomates, suitmates, housemates or floormates to keep me preoccupied or procrastinative. its just my lonesome self and my itunes. not even a boyfriend to occupy my attention (he's too busy with his own shit) so here i sit. with hundreds of tasks ahead of me. desperately scribbling down anything that isnt related to academia.
finished my 15 page recommendation report today. and by finished, i mean DID THE WHOLE FUCKING THING BY MYSELF. so much for group projects. seems to be the trend of my life. always the sucker taking on the task in a group. at least i can put my name on this document and know its legitimately legal and quality.
work has been agnonizing as of late. i really hate working there, and the biweekly check of $170 is little motivation to stay. but 170 is still 170 more than i have. so i guess ill have to suck it for now. next semester hopefully will be different.
i dont so much hate my job or the things i do, just my manager (as with every one of my jobs) shes just a crazy bitch in all senses of the words. but i have made so decent friends in the process, thats soemthing to highlight. one of which being a walking replica of ben bauer and aaron ratzloff. aptly named aaron.
wedding planning has taken a dramatic hault. given the million other things im concerned with. the wedding is bottom on the list of immediacy.
DO NOT GET ME WRONG. THERE IS STILL A WEDDING. just not planned per se.
so im going to be a teacher. and for once in my life. im really really ok with that. actually im really really excited about it. i never thought id be excited about careers again, after the trials of my past. but this choice really was the best for me right now. and even in the thick of finals and work and drama and surgeries and sick dogs and missing friends and all, im still ok with it.
i want a dog.
that wont puke on my floor.
at 3 am.
for 8 hours.
we have like a million feet of snow here. and i love it.
