Hi guys!

For some reason I've had a craving for this pariring for this week and I'm really wondering if anyone knows if there's any fic out there that deals with Sanosuke being confronted with Saitou's wife

You mean a personal confrontation between Sano and Tokio? Nothing comes immediately to mind, but I'm sure they're out there somewhere :D

Yeah, or even Sano confronting Saitou about it. I've got about 1/16th of a fic written now (but then I got distracted re-reading the Kyoto arc *cough*).

I think the Saitou/Sano "ZOMG you're married?!" confrontation is a staple of the pairing, almost as much as the "ZOMG you're not dead?!" conversation.

Soooooooooooo, 1/16th of a fic?? Rereading the Kyoto arc is great, but new fic about the best pairing ever is better! What can I do to persuade you to keep working on this??

It seems like I remember reading fics on it before but when I started looking now I couldn't find anything! I haven't plowed through Fanfiction.net with dedication yet, though. (That seemed really daunting so I was hoping people had some recs... XO) Many of the websites I read at ten years ago are no more. :(

I'm bad with promises about fanfiction but I'll do my best to finish it up with my current passion!

My personal favorite Saitou/Sano fics are West of the Sun, East of the Moon, Dreaming, and A Certain Clarity... but I don't know that they necessarily have what you're looking for (the confrontation with or regarding Tokio).

Yes, do your best to finish the story you're working on. Also know that I'll be eying you beadily all the while. This stuff is what I live for.

I'm glad to know someone will be looking forward to it! Just last night I was joking with my friends and said "Wasting my time writing a fanfic for a dead fandom...I might as well commit seppuku, at least then I'd actively be reducing my carbon footprint!" But, ahhh, Kenshin is such a great series it's still very much alive! (I really want the giant compilation manga.)

I'll check those fics out, too, and while I'd seen saisa I hadn't seen yor site yet! :) (At least, in the past five years. Even if I've read fics they only echo back as distant memories. My memory isn't too acute in general.)

Oohhhhh, yes. I don't know about anyone else (because I also generally have the feeling that I'm writing for a dead fandom), but I will read and love any Saitou/Sano that appears. So please don't disappoint me now that you've got my hopes up!!
