Memorial day weekend!
so yes, memorial day weekend has passed and is gone but you know what, the memory lives on!
alow me to regail the events of this delightful weekend...
it all started thursday at 6 in the AM because I was so excited to get out of Nevada I couldn't sleep.. so i left @ 6:30 AM.
*as i was driving through the mountains i came across this guy who was in the slow lane and then sped up to cut me off when the highway became one lane... i wasn't too happy but whetever i figured I'd get around him when it opened up to two lanes again. i tried but he cut me off and breaked AGAIN... so now it's on!... the next time i got in front of him and some how his put put car caught up with me and cut me off again... apparently he was like me and this became a game (at this rate i was going to be in Sac in like 45 minutes).. so the guy for some reason gets all pised at me and he like flips me off as he cuts me off for the 5th time.. i did nothing because i had a reno festival sticker on the back of my car and i didn't want to be a COMPLETELY bad representation of christians... so anyway i am racing him in the two lane area and little did he know that I had a police scanner and I knew there was a cop up ahead.. I let him win! he got pulled over... *smiles* *
so anyway, i was gonna stop in Sac to see Ron but he had a game that day in Placerville so i just kept going...
got to the Bat area about 10 so i stoped at the mall in Pleasenton and tried on some sexy dresses.
suprised my mom at work.... took some pictures of the squirles at the hospital... sat around and drank coffee...
later that day i went to the dentist so they could fix my poor tooth..
*as it turns out, a filling i got 2 years ago came out and so they had to drill and replace it... I am poor so i told them i was gonna be hardcore and they could do it with out numbing it... WOW what an experience! haha but it was way cheaper*
that night I went to see my grandma and grandpa.. showed my grandpa some of my photo projects and such (he used to be a photographer) vistited and got fun fun birthday stuff.
my mom took me out for birthday dinner... we talked.. it was nice.
FRIDAY!
Ron was down from Sac... he took us out to breakfast yay Denny's! looked at sweet cruser bikes.
I went home and cleaned my old room. went to the bank to cash a check only to find out i was overdrawn from some lame automatic order that wasn't supposed to come in till mid June... went back home to figure out what to do... found out how to solve the problem.. went back to the bank.. as i was leaving the band a man backed into my car.. JUST BEAUTIFUL! *again if i didn't have that sticker on my car i would have throughly gone off. though i must admit i wasn't the nicest person in all the world, and if he had hit it to where it was no longer drivable i would have ran at his car with my switchblade and stabbed all his tires!.. ok maybe not but the thought crossed my mind*
anyway, my car was still drivable so i proceeded to pick up Nicole from her work @ 6 and we left for Sacramento to go to a show that was starting @ 7... yay Dublin grade Altamont pass on the friday of memorial day weekened... so 8 pm we were in stockton... (usually a one hour drive) haha but then there was NO TRAFFIC!!! so i stayed between 90 and 110 and we made it to the show by 8:45. <--- that includes a dinner stop!
anyway i was stoaked because we made it just in time for the band i had come to see (the band I posted pictures from) well the show was awesome and way worth the drive. it was Nicoles first local show EVER.. haha so it was sweet. got some decent pictures... man i need to practice band photography so badly!!
well, we left the show and I got SO lost... I couldn't find the Sacramento house for the life of me... well actually i decided to pioneer a new route and tht was a really bad idea becuase an hour and a half later i got to the house (should have been a 20 minute drive)
Nicole and I spooned on the couch and talked about Nipples and Buffalo, Boys and the "good ole' times" till about 5 in the am.. then we slepted till 11 and got up and drove around Sac and I got some photos of the Capitol Building and some other cool stuff in Sac. then we drove to Stockton and I saw my other grandma and took some photos of my grandpas Roadster..
we continued on to the bayarea where i droped her off and we both got cleaned up and went to San Francisco for 'clam choder in a bread bowl' YUM!
photographed SF and ran around like a bunch of crazies chasing these guys that ended up stalking us! way fun!
SUNDAY!
church... yum yum breakfast at Doug's. drove to Berkeley got a new purse... hung out *coffee*
Zebra, new CD's from Amoeba and Rasputins! SCORE! that night we had a picnic in the park with my mom and Ron and had an extensive discussion on the benefits of nose picking.
MONDAY!
SANTA CRUZ! yay traffic with Nicole! so much fun! * we drove through the Santa Cruz mountains with the windows down listening to RANDOM music really really loud! ie. Um Bop, Girls just want to have fun, beach Boys, Weezer ect... and if the people next to us looked nice we offered them some of our huge bag of baby carrots! haha and this one car ctually said yes so i threw some into their window and THEY ATE THEM!! so awesome!*
we got there and followed the hot guys that were following us! haha. got to the beach and ate because that is what we do best together. and then she insisted that we lay out.. uhmm did i mention that she is a BROWN person and I am a WHITE person.. some how laying out just doesn't appeal to me so much... 5 hours later she wakes up all black and i am huddled in the corner slathered with spf 45 still playing my bongos... haha later we busted out our instruments and had an accustic set on the beach! good times! I took some pictures (of course) and we walked the boardwalk. got some MaryAnns I cream and headed to bonfire beach for serenity moments with our ice cream. headed home.. yay more traffic times! whoo!
TUESDAY.. :(
got up early and went to breakfast with Nicole... boo! I miss her! good times though.
back home and packed up. Ron too me to lunch at Doug's. I got my mom some massive flowers and suprised her and work! <3
drove up to Sac and stayed for a few hours @ Rons place till he got home... drove home and went to my brothers Kindergarden Graduation...
and that my friends was my massively long but oh so exciting weekend! yay!
