Rainy & Gloomy
Zoie's party went really good. The weather was beautiful so that worked out in our favor. After the party she was worn out & passed out on the way home so I put her in her crib. Tom and I opened all of her new toys, I opened the small stuff & left her big kitchen & toy box for him to put together. Jess came over & when Zoie woke up we headed to toysrus because I had a coupon for $5 off something $25 or more and I was going to put it with her birthday money towards a new mattress for zoie but they were all out of every mattress there.. wth, weird. We went to Dicks, and that was interesting. Tom wanted to buy pants for baseball, Zoie did her first running around in a store, which was funny & I think one of the workers was trying to hit on me, what a tard.. He had just helped my husband into a dressing room & then asked me if I was babysitting Zoie Lol. Zoie was so funny though running around the store shouting & letting everyone in westland know she was there. We went to Target afterwards to get a mattress there, plus she needed butts (aka diapers) & theyre too expensive at toysrus. Since it was getting so late & Zoie took a late nap because of her party we decided to go to Applebees for 1/2 off tizers.. I got these things called chicken tanglers, they were really good. They should season their chicken fingers like they season the tanglers. Sunday tom had a schrimmage, which they won but 1/3 of the way through I had to go in the car with Zoie because it started raining, not enough for them to stop playing but enough for me to not want to sit with the baby in the rain, F that. Thank god we had the car & not the truck because that would have sucked to try and play with zoie in the truck, its not as big as the car inside. She was a good little girl, its a good thing I was prepared with lots of toys to keep her busy.
Today is so rainy & gloomy. Zoie slept in till 11ish, she must have been catching up from a busy weekend. I need to go grocery shopping but I don't feel like dragging her out in this rain. I have to though we need food bad... Plus, I can't switch her from formula to milk until I go buy some milk, derr. I just called her Dr office to make her 1yr check up & get it over with.. they were able to fit her in at 4:15 so I'm just going to shop & head to her Dr after that. She isn't gonna like it too much, I'm pretty sure shes getting some shots today ..I used to feel bad when she was soo small & had no warning of shots, she'd just get poked ..but now its even worse when she knows its coming.. as soon as they lay her down she flips out because she knows shes not gonna like whats about to happen. I'm stoked right now .. Tom & I bought Zoie a power wheels quad for her birthday & we've been trying to teach her how to use it... The first day we had to sit her on it, push the button & walk with her ... The second time I put her on it, and she pushed the button but only for a few seconds.. She likes to stand next to it, hit the button and walk with it instead of riding it Lol.. I knew she wasn't gonna know what to do right away, plus its 12months & up so shes at the minimum age.. Today I looked over and she was playing on it again. ..the battery isnt plugged in though .. I looked over & she figured out how to get on it herself, yay :) baby steps.. she'll be riding it like a pro in no time lol.
