wow i can't even imagine how hard it would be if i couldn't drive! i know you are terrified of driving and i COMPLETELY get it, i didn't get my license until i was 21 because i was so scared to drive, esp in MA where everyone is a notoriously bad driver. but it makes life soooooo much easier, esp with kylie.
otherwise your day felt a lot like mine, like i figured it would.
how the F do you get her to stay on that bed when you leave the room?!?!?! we pushed ours against the wall and stuffed the gap with pillows and put a rail on the other side but she crawls right over to the end and tries to get off or tries to launch herself over the rail. thats basically the reason i am anti co-sleeping now, because i have to be in the bed whenever she is. i wish i could turn my bed into a giant crib for both of us!
also all her clothes are so amazing!! i am so jealous because i almost always dress kylie in hand me downs because i usually can't justify to myself spending money on something she'll only be able to wear for a few months. olive is def the best dressed baby i know.
Hahah, well. When she turns 12 months I'm getting a seat on my bike so that will be awesome. I know I have to learn to drive at some point. :/ Maybe I will work on it this summer.
Once she goes to sleep she stays still pretty much. I have that one pillow as buffer. If she wakes up, she will usually make noise and I can go get her. Otherwise, she just holds on to the rail and yells. If I STILL don't come (which has only happened a few times when I was like, peeing) she will crawl to the edge of the bed, turn around and slide off. I have NO IDEA where she learned to do this but she can do it for any elevated surface. Sometimes she lands okay, sometimes she falls too hard. And every now and then she falls off the bed.
I have a baby clothes buying issue. We're on a cloth diaper break (possibly forever) so I have been selling those and I am just...really big in to style for her. I shop a lot on Etsy and local boutiques. I am not stylish myself but I love picking out cool clothes for her. I really want her to have a unique, funky style. We got a ton of hand-me-down dresses but they're all like 2T and up. And actually, we have managed to wear a lot of cloths since around 5/6 months and still have them fit now. She quit growing so fast around 6 months and has only put on l2 pounds or so since then.
Anyways! I had fun, thanks for suggesting this to me.
