Here comes the rain again
Sometimes it actually does pay to work for a sticker company. I was sitting at work today in my own little gloom listening to TheTHE when one of the customer service reps comes up to me.
"hey, check these stickers out that we are going to print"
"let me see that shit"... "HOLY FUCK!!!!"
I am sitting at my desk looking at lazer printouts of AC/DC, Rolling Stones, Addicts, and SKINNY PUPPY stickers!!!
So I could give a shit less about the ac/dc or Rolling Stones, but Addicts and Skinny Puppy!?
She is like "So, you've heard of these bands, huh?" "I will get some extra's printed for you and make sure the jobs get routed to your desk."
It's the little things in life that make me happy and that was one of them.
Driving to work today I passed the Lumber Yard that Sharon, Justin, Dave and I saw burning down Sunday morning. They had at least one fire truck out there spraying it down still and when I came home the rain which had subsided made the ruins smell extra strong. god that was a beautiful sight.
I bet it was terrorism.
Tomorrow night my sister is staying over since my mom will be at KU Med for her cancer removal. Maybe I'll take her out to Udipi for dinner. Give her a taste of real vegitarian goodness.
