I find it very interesting that in most movies (and I notice it the most in Japanese movies) that no matter where one person runs off to and no matter how much of a head start they have, the person they are running from can always find them, and usually catches up with them within moments (usually just in time to push the runner out of the way of a car, scooter, bicycle, etc.). It's like these people have the Psychic Power of Love guiding them or something. Or else no turns exist whatsoever where they are...it must just be a straight road with no other possible way of going. I'm going to start keeping a tally of the number of times that this happens for now on. Off the top of my head, it has happened in Kizumomo (involved running and a car incident, although they were separate from each other), Formula 17 (althought Tien didn't run very far and Bai could see him the whole time. However, there was a bicycle incident involved, so this one counts), and Itsuka no Kimi e (and this one involved both the running - about four times - and the car incident). And these are just movies I've watched in the past couple of days.
Seriously, what's the average number of people that die in Japan by pushing other people out of the way of a vehicle? I mean, with the number of times it happens in television shows and movies, you would think that it would be a lot. Or maybe it's just a really big cliche...
Off topic (slightly), Formula 17 is the gayest and most hilarious film I have ever seen in my life. And Duncan Lai is hot! If you ever get the chance, please watch this movie. You will laugh your ass off throughout the whole thing, and you will fall in love with the characters, especially Tien the blushing virgin.
On another note, if you haven't already, you should watch Kamen Rider Kiva. Seto Kouji is the star of the show, and that right there is enough reason to watch it. XD
