Stress I Hates You
I researched my CLA exam earlier that I have to take, and I finally have a date. It's July 24th and 25th. I really don't want to take a two day exam, but what can I do? The schedule is a bit intimidating:
24th
Communications (includes essay portion)
9:30 am - 11:00 am
Lunch
11:00 am - 12:30 pm
Judgment and Analytical Ability (includes essay portion)
12:30 pm - 3:00 pm
25th
Ethics
9:30 am - 10:30 am
Break
10:30 am - 11:00 am
Legal Research
11:00 am - 12:30 pm
Lunch
12:30 pm - 1:45 pm
Substantive Law
1:45 am - 3:45
I guess it isn't as bad as it could be, but I'm going to have to stay in a hotel room for two nights. Which brings up a question: does anyone have hotel booking experience with any online sites? Or, what's a good hotel with reasonable prices? I've never really stayed in a hotel room by myself or had to book it, so I'm a bit lost. I like to plan ahead, so I'm trying to get all of this together and get it done.
So, I have until May 12th to get in the monies for the exam, all $275 of it. Why are these things so over-priced? So, hotel + gas + exam fees...this is so not going to be fun. Oh, and I need to buy the study materials for the exam. I'm just glad that I'll have all summer to work on it. I figure if I start as soon as school lets out, I'll be good to go. Hopefully...
