A Trickster Note ...

If anyone here is even remotely debating playing it, and remotely debating playing either of the sense classes ... please keep the following in mind.

The Lion and Fox are the ONLY classes in the game that use ammo.
They have the options of either Gunnery or Thrown Weapons.

The former is very powerful, but extremely costly in terms of skill points (which can be very hard to get), and ammo. It also consists of no less than 4 sperate and interrelated skills. It would be safe to say that one won't be an 'expert gunman' until the 50th or so level of skill. The benefit is that guns are easy to come by and ammo is cheap and plentiful. Accuracy is the key stat that determines your damage rating with a gun ... and accuracy is NOT a key score for the Sense Types. FYI, in my running around tonight, I expended close to $24,000 in ammo. Each of my bullets costs $10.

The latter is not quite as powerful at first, but has far lower skill point costs : You can master the art of thrown weapons LONG before you can master the art of the gun. It is also still VERY powerful as far as 'standard attacks' go. The ammo used is, however, 3 times as expensive shot for shot. The only thing to remember is that the controlling factor on damage is your main sense statistic, "DA". As a sense type, you have the HIGHEST POSSIBLE setting for DA from the outset, so a Shuriken build requires no special thought as to how to balance to get the most out of the character.
