wiggity wack lightning bugs

it's officially summer for me beeecaaause
last night the following happened
we rode bikes at night to the beach, i rode barefoot
we saw lightning bugs
it smelled like honey suckle the whole time
we got chased by serial killers
the island was empty and it felt like our own world
and those are definitely imperative ingrediencts of summer
i haven't seen lighning bugs in years, and the one's i've seen before light up gold and stay lit up for a good 5 seconds. the ones that we saw last night were strobe light crazy silver lightning bugs! i never knew there were different types! i would like to refer to these as wiggity wack ones and the other ones as regular type.
