I cough cough cough. I t started after last weekend, I "DJ":d after a party and screamed a lot, so for a couple of days I was convinced that my sore throat was sore due to yelling "OMGYOUGUYSROCK" too much. On Wednesday I got fever and realised it was a cold. The fever has gone down, but I haven't slept properly for over a week now because I wake up and cough. I have an exam on Friday (and a job interview) and a paper to hand in on Monday, so no rest. And, well, I have been quite active despite coughing, so I can only blame myself. Hope I don't get pneumonia. Would serve me right, I suppose, but... Kajsa says the coughing is good for my abs.
I have watched Do The Right Thing, it was very aesthetically pleasing, and message and all. I have also watched HSM and HSM2 with friends, finally got to meet
_graveflower properly. Who was absolutely awesome, even if you would ignore that she gave me a Hysteric Glamour tee. And you don't ignore that kind of thing. I should watch the whole HSM trilogy once the third movie is available, and that time Kajsa will not get away!
I have registered for a lindy-hop camp in December, four days and seven nights just beforethe New Year's. Many of my fellow PQ:ers are going. In a attack of "I like a challenge" I registered as a leader, rather than follower that I normally dance. Practiced some with Petter today, I guess I'm not a bad leader as such and I'll be fine in a month, on the level requiered for my classes. But dammit it's hard. I'm a pretty good follower, all talent and practice because I have never really gotten instructions or been thinking about how to do it, and am rather unschooled when it comes to dance. I just, well, follow and hope for the best. It works out swell. But now I had to think about where I put my feet and how a swing-out really is constructed and how to lead Petter who normally leads. But, as mentioned above, I like a challenge.
