I killd my camera yesterday. Didn't have it insured for "dropping it on stone ground in a really clumsy way" (mom says I maybe have some insurance for it anyway, yay), so I guess I have to get a new one. Suxxx. Maybe as a Christmas thing. I really like having a camera. Some things, you don't know how much you need them until you miss them. Some things, you know how little you need them until you miss them. Camera and iPod, I know I need them when I have them and when I don't.

Other than that I'm awfully happy. Really. I tried to take pictures of me with my freshly-cut fringe and eyes shining with harmony and inner happiness when I dropped my camera. So it goes. Anyway, I look totally smashing and alternative with long-ish (longer than ever with this colour anyway) hair and fringe and stuff. And I'm glowing with love for things and people.

Some of the last pictures my camera managed to take before kicking the bucket completely. The weird light thingy is not caused by the camera being dropped on the ground, but by camera's "portrait by night" setting.

Yesterday the jazz-band-dance-group-thingy I'm in had a one-century-of-dance kind of gig in the City Hall for a law student organisation that turned 100. They had dessert and we danced and after a couple of decades (we did 1907, 1917, ..., Rihanna's Umbrella) the audience understood what was going on and seemed to like it. After we did out thing on stage (=tableless space) they were done with their desserts and we went on doing our thing on the dancefloor and then some of us went the less formal party, and some of use went home. I went home. And killd my camera. But that doesn't really matter because... well, great company, nice food, great company, dancing, good audience, great company, cut my fringe, great company dressed for white tie, dance, blue hall with it's outdoorsy feel, great company. The band played different tunes from what I normally get to dance to and I tried to dance with girls and lead a couple of times, which was an interesting experience for a dedicated follower that I am. I definitely should do more genderswitching there, adds a new dimension. I neeeeed to get men's clothes for occasions like this, I'm telling ya!

One day I( will write a proper post about me and dancing. But not now, because I'm going back to great company now.
