Wiki-wiki
At Iggy's party I asked if anyone new the etymology of "wiki", if it was an acronym or something. Nobody knew, so I looked it up. At wikipedia.
The first WikiWikiWeb (http://c2.com/cgi/wiki), is named after the "Wiki Wiki" line of "Chance RT-52 shuttle buses" in Honolulu International Airport, Hawaii by Ward Cunningham. Cunningham named WikiWikiWeb that way because he remembered a Honolulu International Airport counter employee telling him to take the so-called "Wiki Wiki" Chance RT-52 shuttle bus line that runs between the airport's terminals. According to Cunningham, "I chose wiki-wiki as an alliterative substitute for 'quick' and thereby avoided naming this stuff quick-web." "Wiki Wiki" is a reduplication of "wiki", a Hawaiian-language word for fast. The word wiki is a shorter form of wiki wiki (weekie, weekie). The word is sometimes interpreted as the backronym for "What I know is", which describes the knowledge contribution, storage and exchange function. --Here.
So.... Jallapedia?

Let's end with the very beginning, a wonderful place to end
We have a film club in Sweden called Cinemateket. You pay the really inexpensive membership fee (80 kr/ year) and then you can go and see old and independent and artsy films for, like, half price of an ordinary ticket (45 kr).
This Sunday, they have a showing in their series of "Artists choose films". This time it's Paul McCarthy. And it's The Sound of Music, upside down and backwards. COME ON!!!! I know you want to! It's backwards and upside down! It's like... 171 minutes of pure joy!
