håll käften, skicka in dina senaste tendre poison-bilder till ett barnboksförlag. Man behöver inte jobba heltid bara för att man är intresserad av något.

Min hobby som jag inte vill jobba med: spela tv-spel.

Men! Varför vill du inte spela? Liksom, fatta att jobba med sin hobby! Slänga bort din talang på nån universitetsgrej när du skulle kunna vara en fri själ! ^^

För att skicka ut barnboksbilderna måste jag:
1) teckna fler,
2) ha dem i hög upplösning,
3) teckna bättre,
4) omgorka.
Men tack ändå ^^

Exact same drawing thing as you. Really happy when I get paid for a piece, but I already have a job.

Drawing for me to, definitely. I'm just not interested in making it my job. I want to be a teacher. But I still want to draw, and I wouldn't say no if I got to publish something. And the same about writing, I think. The reasons behind this... well, not practical ones, anyway! I have relatives and friends who live quite comfortably and work with illustration or the like, so I know it's possible if you really want to do it. Thing is, though, I want to work with people. I want to work with teenagers. And I want to teach them something, preferably about language and literature. I love writing and drawing but I don't want to spend the rest of my life doing it.

As pretty much everyone who's been through school, I strongly feel that teaching is, just as drawing, something that takes talent, hard work and genuine enthusiasm. Hearing people like you makes me a happy little Tanja.

um... surfing the internet? But I would actually like getting paid for that.

Ah, baking! It's something I do because it's fun, it has a tasty result and I can experiment. But I wouldn't want to feel pressure that "omg! it has to be sellable" or keep doing the same things day after day, year after year. Either I would end up really fat, or hating sugar and both are horrible destinies

A couple of months ago I almost got a job just like that.

Baking! I've always been okay at cooking, but baking has been a huge mystery to me until recently when Stanja started baking bread. I'm pretty good at bread now, but sweeter stuff is still a mystery and my cinnamon buns turn out funky. So I'm in awe of everyone who can master the sw33t dough.

I acutally rarely have the patience for sweet yeast breads. But, I can spend an hour fiddling with some piece of decoration for a christmas sweet... my logic, working it is not.

You sound very much like that kind of person, who (when your friends have settled down and grown up) will always be expected to bake for parties and such ^^ (you know "can you bake a cake for my 30th Biorthday party, pleeeease? I'll pay you of course, but it just feels so much more peersonal!")
