Oh those Russians.

I made a post over at Erokai (a Swedish blog about erotica, sex and relationships that I write for sometimes) yesterday about that Russian anime-party boobie-incident. Mentioned how the female conferencier speaks a horrible Moscow dialect. This morning I got a comment in Russian, stating that Swedes don't care about Russian accents because Swedes are brought up to believe that Russians are all untermensch and enemies. The commenter stated that my view of them is wrong and that I will get very disillusioned one day.
I went WTF. Seriously, I just mentioned a girl's dialect and someone who doesn't know me at fucking all comments on how I am wrong about Swedes. I got really irate, commented something about "eh, you don't really know me well enough to have opinions about that kind of thing, and who are you anyway" and went over to hisher blog. (S)he blogs in Russian, but seems to know Swedish well. There is some tear-jerking background story about hisher sister coming to Sweden, being called a prostitute by airport officials, going back home and committing suicide. Awfully sad, especially if it's true, but what comes after it (and throughout the whole story) is aggressive hatred towards Sweden as a nation and lots of talk about how Sweden helped Hitler during the WWII. And then the blogger accused a Swedish blogger who currently studies in Russia of generalizing.
That person replied to me that my reply (the "who are you anyway" one) was rude and unpleasant. And, also, typical. I told himher that rude and unpleasant were exactly the words I'd use about hisher first comment. (S)he said that I'll remember himher one day. I thanked for the advidce and told himher to stay relevant to the ero-content of that blog the next time (s)he wishes to comment.
God, that person irritated me so much! ARRRRRRRRRRRGH!

Oh, and we got our Russian visas! They got Stangel's name wrong in cyrillics (despite him writing his name in both alphabets on the application), so now he is Стэнгел. The visas were made in Denmark, so we blame the э on that.

It's been pretty hot lately. Went bathing with the guys yesterday, but ended up not bathing at all. I don't really like getting wet in lakes, I like sea water. But anyhow, Stanja has learned to make cold coffee drinks. For the win, I'm telling ya! Now we can sip coffee milkshakes while reading crime books on our balcony.
