First day of my Censorship in Film class. Looks quite fun and I felt extremely in the know when during the first hour the teacher mentioned that she would show clips of how different films get around censorship and I immediately guessed which one of them would be, and the guess turned out to be right an hour later. I and Jonne amused ourselves with drawing parallells between the early 20th century view on films and today's on videogames. It was hard not to laugh out loud when he wrote "interactive media", though. All in all, looks like a fun thing to study, we'll concentrate on 00's-30's. The downside is all the books I'll have to buy for this and my Latin class. I have already spent $190 on schoolbooks this term, and I won't be able to sell them off until next year.
A woman had her baby with her, and my maternal instinct (or toddlercon, whatever) kicked in badly. Jonne made fun of me for the rest of the day, but the baby was so tiny, just a couple of months old, and it had little tiny baby hands and was really sweet. Saw other babies later, but they weren't as cute as the film class baby.
