Enjoy!
In The Beginning...
You bring them to us with trust in your hearts,
Anxiously waiting as the school day starts.
They hold your hand and come to our door,
Wide-eyed and wondering what school holds in store.
Each child resembles and open book.
They're ready to read as we listen and look.
We'll fill those pages with the sights and sounds
Of children growing in leaps and bounds...
Of building blocks and things to taste,
Of paper to color, to paint and to paste,
Of songs for the singing and giggles galore
As they learn to listen, examine, explore...
The wonder of words and numbers and things
That being in school eventually brings.
But when school is over and the day is through,
We'll give them back, in faith, to you.
FOr the parent and teacher are two of a kind.
We both have your childs best interest in mind!

(written at the bottom was the following)
Now that kindergarten is over
I will give them back to you.
Thanks for sharing your child with me!
We have both grown in special ways.
I will miss them!
