Lil Update
First off...I have got to be one of the proudest mommy's in the world right now. Friday when I picked up J from school, she had a t-shirt in her hand. So i asked it what it was for. She showed it to me, I read, "Mohawk Pride Student of the Month." My baby got student of the month. If I'm not mistaken it is the first one handed out this school year!!!! Even if it turns out that she isn't the first, she is the second, and that is pretty darn awesome!!! I couldn't be more proud of her if I tried. She got it for being such a good student and helping other kids. Side note, for those that knew me back in the "school days" know that this is huge for me. With any luck Jordyn will continue to have her daddys book smarts.
Puppy training is going well. He's a stubborn lil thing, and he and I tend to butt heads once in a while, but that's to be expected I guess. I've noticed that if I'm actually sitting on the floor playing with him he "gets a little personal," but it I sit on my knees, and I'm higher up than him, he leaves me alone. Sometimes he tries really hard to be the "top dog," that is sooooo not going to happen.
Robs brother went back into the hospital today. He will be getting a Lumbar Puncture (Spinal Tap) done tomorrow and his second round of Chemo. He handled the first one pretty good, so lets pray he does this one too. Rob and I are headed to the hospital tomorrow with mom and dad to see him. I know Rob needs to see that his brother is going to be ok, it's just the getting to the ok part that will be a a little tough. Please continue to keep him as well as the family in thoughts and prayers.
