That was fun!
So one day I get a text from Michelle from IPHI, she wanted to go to Sudwerks in Davis. I've never been and well, I had no idea who it was since my phone died a few months ago. I called it back, then I recognized Michelle's voice, so it really was her. We weren't sure who was going to be DD, but I offered since I do have work the next day.
I picked up Jennie, who I remembered when I actually picked her up. I met Michelle's new bf Lloyd. He's a real prankster, but I'm the reminiscent type, so I still saw her with Clayton. I always knew her as Clayton's gf, so I guess so much for old times. I miss Clayton too, cuz he broke me into the ever famous Wiki's. It was hard to go to Cafe Bernardo and not get a Wiki. I got one for my bf though. It did mess him up, but what can I say, he's a lightweight.
Sudwerks was fun. I haven't seen Kristen in a while, and was so happy to see her. Joe told me they weren't allowed to advertise Poker tournaments or even give buy-in amounts. THat sux! Drew, Aaron and a few other people were trying to figure out how to get Jennie out of welfare. She loves her job and all but she said she's not even making 25k. I gave her ways to save money that I discovered. But I told her it's true that if she got married to her bf, that they can't receive welfare. They can still however receive WIC. So Aaron and Drew were like just pop out a kid! LOL good times.
I got bored at Sudwerks cuz both sides of the table were playing drinking games while I just was amused. I was really not enjoying being DD, but I loved spending time with people I haven't in a while, esp Michelle. We left when a fight broke out between a Marine guy who was acting a fool b/c he saw a middle eastern guy. That was really racist, but best be safe then in the wrong place ya know.
Another fun Davis trip shall occur. Well for now I'll be there tomorrow to visit my co-worker who is on LOA. She's most likely going to get termed in a week or so due to her absence. She hasn't been working for HTI at least a year, that's why she gets termed. I love her to death, but we're trying to fill in the position in my dept. It looks promising right now.
I'm excited about Cracky's bridal shower this coming weekend. I still have to search for the gift. She like me, is very fortunate to have the Hello Kitty fettish. I guess getting her the HK massager is way out of the question, yet appropriate for the bridal shower. LOL. J/K I promise you Cracky my gift will be tasteful.
I'm having poker withdrawals. I use to host the tourneys at my house, but unfortunately those oil people care more about profits than us consumers. My friend Leslee and I are thinking about investing in Hybrid vehicles. Maybe I'll sell my other car, then consider it. But yeah, I not sure if Davis people would be willing to drive out here. I do drive out there, but I know with being a student and all, it's different cuz I work full-time and am more flexible with my funds.
