*edit* --> that was born out of frustration with my parents basically giving up on me (or so it seems) and more or less ignoring me, aside from snide remarks and mean comments. so you all (my friends) are where i turned to. aside from people on LJ (and angel, who is wonderful and amazing), i'm going at this alone now. so, excuse my major dorkiness. ;)
