dear bj,
i don't want to take much of your time though i do hope that you take in
the sincerity of my message. i have noticed that when we pass by one
another on campus, i have tried to acknowledge your presence and feel
that my existence is ignored. i will respect your maintenance of this
type of relationship if that is what you prefer, just as long as you are
aware that i do not have a problem with you. i understand that we are
very different people and have ceased to be friends, however, i did not
know that it would get to the point where we couldn't offer a glance or
say a simple 'hello' when we run into each other every now and then. i
apologize if my email has made you feel uncomfortable in any way, i just
had to let you know how i feel. if we do not speak the rest of this
semester, just know that i respect your feelings and wish you the best.

Dearest Lauren,
I have to noticed that when I pass you in the hallway or outside, you don't look at me. Therefore I would feel stupid saying hi or waving to someone who isn't looking. I have also took notice, that when Sue and I got back from Mardi Gras that you asked her how it was and totally ignored me. I also know that you chat with Sue on occasion but never say anything to me. So, as common sense would tell me, I thought that you didn't want to talk to me anymore.
