Whoa it has been a while . . . . .
Things have FINALLY calmed down quite a bit. Nick has moved back in and seems to be adjusting well to being back at home. It's nice to have him around more often. In fact, he seems to be doing really well. His mood is 100% better and he seems happier. All of which are good things. He's gone to dinner with us several times and he's pretty open about a lot of things that I didn't think he would be open about. It's just nice to have the old Nick back.
Work has been crazy! I swear this week is going by soo slowly. The boy I work with had a rash on his tongue (gross!) but I don't think his mom has taken him to the doctor. I sincerely hope she takes him tomorrow if she didn't take him today. He came to school with it Monday and it looked like he had burned his tongue on something but his mom said she hadn't seen it the night before when she brushed his teeth. Who knows. I hope it's not contagious - and of course I googled tongue rashes as soon as I got home from work to see if I could find anything that looked similar to it. I found one such picture that looked exactly like his tongue and it says it's not contagious - if it's the same thing. Again, he really needs to be checked out. His mom says she thinks it is from the boy sucking on his tongue in his sleep . . . but I don't think it would look like that. Oh vey to sickness! My team at work had a morning meeting at Burger King this morning. It was totally unplanned and random but I enjoyed my cini - minis! It was a great way to start off my day!
Still fretting about the skiing trip. I think I'll have fun but i'm not really sure what to expect. I'm not sure if i'll like the ski lift - not being a fan of heights and all. So who knows . . . . .
