Well here it goes...
I've been keeping up with college work and between working out, then subtracting the workout with meals, going to class, dealing with my social life, and doing activities, Livejournal, sadly, has become a stranger. Good news though, studying has paid off and I received a 100% on my calculus exam which is way beyond me. Maybe some other Nicole took the test, got the A, and I'm just getting the credit. Who knows? The weather has just been wonderful here. Lots of sun = lots of laying out. My friends and I found a new yogurt shop near our school and they serve 6 new flavors every day. The first time there was pretty much an experience through heaven. Now I take the 5 mile run/walk there and back as part of my daily schedule. I applied for a job at Starbucks because I am a poor college girl, freaked out for the interview, but did well...and got the job! I'm not taking it though for multiple reasons, but nonetheless, I passed the test! I guess more time to lay out and absorb the sun. :)
Yesterday I bought a Jelly Belly machine with my surplus dining points. Wow, there are some NASTY tasting jelly beans. For some reason I keep popping the beans in a repeated manner into my mouth eventhough I know the color can not represent anything taste worthy. The brown ones really scare me, same with orange, and the green. And boy do the flavors clash with one another. Lemon, Coffee, Butterscotch, Peppermint, Blueberry...I want to gag. What a clever guy the jelly bean maker is, he makes candies that are disgusting and still people eat them. hmmmm. I like the licorice though.
My brother visits me this thursday. I'm so stoked. We are going to make a trip to Santa Cruz so hopefully the sun will continue to burst its rays.
