do parent conferences work?
honestly, i thought the students we spoke with yesterday would do much better today. NOPE! not a chance. frustration. i lectured them how they will all do bad if they don't change their attitude and start working. that seemed to work quite well. along with the "i'll keep you after school if you waste my time" lecture.
be positive! i went to school this morning and said "IT'S GOING TO BE A GOOD DAY TODAY!!" i gave that up 5 minutes after the class got into the room. ahHhHH.
it's okay. kevin's on his way here. my take over and subbing is over. my teacher will be there, and all will be well. i don't know what i'll do next year when i won't have a resident teacher. maybe i'll make kevin be the bad guy and have him come in and yell at the students every once in awhile. *_*
