I wanna Flex with you, baby
SOOOOOOOO. I am super happy today because my SHARKS won Game 5 yesterday against the Penguins in the Stanley Cup Finals, my kids were good this morning, and the sun is shining. :D
Then I probably spammed everyone on my twitter timeline with dearly loved friends about writing and fangirling and coming back to LJ for a little bit. Sometimes, the problem with LJ is that I don't know what to write. It feels like talking to an empty room after all the guests have left and you just feel so lonely because the party has moved on.
BUT some of us are going to be partying it up on LJ with the 30 Days of Fangirling and we're all excited to read and learn something new about each other!
So on to the fun meme! I'm going to do one or two at a time since my time is a bit limited in which I can spend on LJ due to the babies and the NBA/Stanley Cup Finals. Also, I need a new layout/picture. Any suggestions?
30 Days of Fangirlism
Day 01 - Your favorite all-time fandom(s)
This is so tough. My all time favourite fandom is fairly small but well-loved and everyone in it are so amazing and welcoming. I truly and utterly adore the Hikaru no Go fandom. It's not my first fandom but it's the fandom that I keep coming back to year after year. It's probably no surprise that I adore the anime and manga as well. The artwork is so amazing and so many of the fics out there are just pure joy.
There are a ton of fandoms that I love and come back too but I don't think I love them with the same devoted intensity as I do with Hikaru no Go. I think HP/JE came really close but I don't revisit certain fics as frequently as I do with Hikago. Granted, Hikago is a lot smaller than HP/JE but my adoration knows no bounds!
Day 02 - Your current fandom
My current fandom is probably Check, Please!, Naruto, and Teen Wolf. Those are the fandoms that I'm currently reading. I am a SUCKER for Zimbits and Sterek. I'm probably in the processing of reading everything that have these two pairings. Naruto has been a long time love and I'm currently devouring all the Self Insert fics and following a few WIP that are just amazing and hits my need for long, character driven fic.
