Lalalalala.....or something like that

So, School starts a week from today and I'm so excited :( Nick took vacation this whole week and is home with the family which is very nice considering how little we see him. We had been thinking about ripping the carpet up in the living room and hallway/entrances to the bedrooms and replacing it with laminate wood flooring and finally decided to do it this week. So far we have painted the living room and hallway this desert camel color(very nice beige)and the floor is done in the living room and the hallway is on its way. The only thing that has sucked so far was the fact that we had to purchase new base boards and shoe molding since the old ones didn't want to come off the walls like they should have...grrr. Now we have to measure, cut, angle and paint all the damn boards and molding. So our BIG project developed its own mini projects. Other than that, we spent New Year's working on the floors, but Crystal and Caleb came over to help so it wasn't too bad. We stopped working just short of 11pm and got to hook the T.V. back up and watch Times Square. Well, that is my update since Nick is cracking his whip! Back to working again....I wish I was getting paid for this! Haha
