Playing Catch-Up
It's been much too long since my last post. The plan for tonight was to catch up on my f-list and then type an entry. Well, I completed the first task on my list. I guess technically, I'm accomplishing both but not to the extent to which I was hoping. I have quite a bit to write about actually, since the weekend was so wonderful (because of the weather) and there's a few tv shows to catch up on (finales!). But, unfortunately, this will be a quickie since it's getting late. At least I get to sleep in tomorrow morning, since I have the day off to go to a volunteer orientation at the zoo.
I found out today that my college roommate was diagnosed with AVMs (Arteriovenous malformations). My basic understanding of it is that some arteries and veins in the brain have been tangled together, disrupting the flow of blood. This can lead to hemorrhaging, which we all know is not good for the brain. Apparently, hers is large, and from what I read, it sounds like the smaller AVMs are more prone to hemorrhaging. She goes to see a neurosurgeon in a few days. So, I'm praying for her. Just wish I could be of more support; it can be hard to be a good friend from hundreds of miles away.
Speaking of diagnoses, I hope that bluecamosis is feeling better. You've been in my thoughts too. *hugs*
Lastly, I nearly died laughing at a comic that I read at work today. I don't normally read comics, but I was bored and reading a few upside down on the page my co-worker was perusing. Well, I didn't really get near death, but if I wasn't around other people, I might have. Without further ado, here it is:
That's sooo me! Well, most of the time. But right now, I actually have lots to write about and too little time to do it in. Pooh. I'll get caught up sooner or later. I'm hoping for the sooner rather than later. ;)
Anyway, it really is getting late. So, good night, and beee yourself!
