I Got Mail!
Thank you, rainymemories, for the thank you card! lol I feel like this is a never-ending cycle of thank yous. :D When I got the mail, I was all, "Why did Thumper send me a letter???" But then I remembered that you sent out the cards. I was so happy for the mail. Thanks. ♥ Oh, and yours is in the way. Told you I'd get it out on Saturday. ;)
Today, I volunteered at the zoo. The hours are shorter now, so I get home an hour earlier, which is nice. Other than that, I haven't been up to anything too special.
This morning, I watched two episodes of Arashi no Shukudai-kun. I watched the very first one and then one from the end of last month. Both were very fun, of course. I think I'd enjoy anything with Arashi in it, actually. The first one made me REALLY want some yakiniku. I think it's neat that you cook the meat right in front of you. Gah, I want to go to Japan and try all the food! I don't see how they fit that meat in their mouth though. All in one bite! Uncooked, the beef was 3.9cm thick!!! It would take me ages to chew through something like that. lol
I ♥ed Aiba in the other episode. Aiba and Jun! *flail* Their faces were sooo close! So kawaii though. And I liked Aibaland and the random singing. Riida yodeling and Nino's punk style. Haha. So good.
And tonight, I finally found the chance to watch Myuu no Anyo, Papa ni Ageru. Cute cute!
I went into it prepared for something like 1 Litre of Tears, and while I found some similarities, it wasn't the bawl-fest that 1 Litre was. I was definitely happy about that. It ended really sweet though. And the girl who played Myuu, so adorable!!!
One point in the story, MatsuJun's character was on steroids, causing his cheeks to puff up. Oh my gosh! MatsuJun with chubby cheeks is something else! I can't describe it, but it was amusing... Although I guess it shouldn't have been, since it was a side effect of something that was supposed to be helping.
Better yet, though. At the first meeting of one of the doctors, Myuu points to him and says "Jack." She was talking about Jack from Lost!!! Sooo hilarious! I was cracking up. Really, I was. I think I went hysterical for a few minutes there. lol But I think it was MatsuJun's character who was all, "He looks nothing like Jack!" Of course, he didn't. Some time later in the drama, the doctor mentions Jack and how the only similarity they have is that they are good doctors. I guess he had to look Jack and Lost up, because he had been compared to Jack. How great!
Tomorrow, the Hana-Kimi SP airs!!! *crosses fingers for subs to come out quickly* Well, technically, it airs at 5am my time, although it's already tomorrow in Japan. ;)
And not only that, the Hana Yori Dango Final dvd will be released on December 19th!!! Gah, cannot wait at all! Well, obviously I'll have to, but you get my drift. ;) I hope.
