snow!!!
wow it's actually snowing outside! so pretty! this morning my parents came in and said "mai, it's snowing outside! go look!" and i was like "no! i wanna sleep!" i'm so lazy.
school has been ok so far. i haven't been drowning in homework. work has been quite busy and fun. i don't even have time to read for english. i found out that john speaks french! he was talking to chris about how muslim girls can't wear their veils in school and john bust out w/liberté, equalité, fraternité and i was like whoa!
sometimes i wonder why my life sucks but then i start to think about the things that i do have. like sheryl crow said, it's not having what you want, it's wanting what you've got. i know i should appreciate the things i have, rather than wanting the things i don't really need. i don't have a lot of friends but i know that the ones i have will always be there for me. i don't drive a fancy or live in a big house but i do have a car while some people are living in much worse conditions. i'm lucky i have a job while so many people w/a college education are forced to apply at mcdonald's.
i've been sitting w/yoamy, leslie, amber and alyssa at lunch and they're so funni! we were talking about the fights at school and how it might get on tv, and alyssa talked in a country accent and said "they're gonna interview some guy and he'll be like, 'i dunno what happened. i was just standing there and the fight broke out.' " she's so funny!
CONGRULATIONS TO AI, LINDA, KELLY AND OTHER NEW KEY CLUB OFFICERS!!! KEY CLUB IS GONNA ROCK NEXT YEAR!!!
i hope that everyone will have a wonderful valentine's day. i know i will even though i don't have a valentine.
