Today was a very good day. It was productive and I am happy with it. Turns out the lady cancelled on my hair appointment, so I am doing that on Saturday, but it gave me time to do things I really needed to do like get my car washed and fix my windshield wiper!
Today in my lit class was when I let the class listen to "play crack the sky" by Brand New, it was interesting to see people's reaction to the song. It seemed that the class enjoyed it and the Teacher did as well...i don't think she wanted to stop it. I was nervous at first because nobody in the class has ever heard of Brand New and the fact that the song is really kind of depressing just scared me a little bit. I didn't want them to get the wrong impression of me. Then we started listening to it and everything was okay, it was nice!
So I am going to do what Stefanie did...put on my playlist and write down the first 20 songs that come on, no matter how embarrassing it may be:
The Pretenders- I'll Stand by You
Alkaline Trio- Cringe
U2- With or Without you
Alkaline Trio - Radio
Better than Ezra - Desperatly Wanting
Dashbord Confessional - The Good Fight
Clay Aiken - Bridge Over Troubled Water
Tori Amos - Tear in Your Hand
Dasboard Confessional - Hands Down
Brand New - Me vs. Maradona vs. Elvis
Dashboard Confessional - Saints and Sailors
Dashboard Confessional - Am I Missing
Beth Hart - Leaving L.A
Elton John and Billy Joel- Something about the way you look...
Matchbox 20 - Bent
Tori Amos - Little Earthquakes
Alkaline Trio - Enjoy Your Day
Billy Joel - New York State of Mind
Josh Groben - Vincent
Meatloaf - Two out of Three Ain't Bad
hmmm...not too bad, just seems that it repeated a lot of artists, oh well.
And since we are on the subject Stefanie also had this in her LJ. Tell me a song that reminds you of me! that should be fun.
