Uhhh what are you looking for in a manga? As far as basics go, it's very pretty, revolves heavily around character development, has a looooot of co-dependency, and is generally exciting. THE SPOILERS ARE AWESOME.
FROM WHAT I HEARD it sounds like my kind of manga for sheer "you're my friend and I like you but ALSO WE ARE ENEMIES!!!!1" which is a secret guilty ping of mine--... and maybe I am just misinterpreting what I've overheard BUT YES...
di[e]ce is a sort of war game where two teams are pitted against each other under really loose chess metaphors. Kazuki, the main protagonist, is chosen as King for one side while he best friend Haruki is chosen as King for the other side. The only way to end di[e]ce completely (there's smaller rounds where players are put in life-or-death puzzles or pitted against brainwashed zombie people) is for one of the Kings to kill the other.
