Books for cash.
Cash for Djembe case.
A fair trade I feel. My Djembe now lives in a nice new Warwick softcase. I will admit to a bit of an ego trip, walking through the town with it slung over my back, as I knew people were looking. It's not something you ever really see in Inverness. A guitar case you can get away with but the drum is something else. Now all I need to do is get really good at it. The Djembe that is, not walking through the town with it.
So the big tour...me mum offered to feed/house them for the night, so on the 26th after the gig my house should be full of 13-ish jubilant musicians, getting well drunk. Which will be entertaining, or at least interesting :-)
Discovered some floorboards got broken in the Market - right where me & Mary were pogoing! D'oh! But somewhat amusing.
As for tonight, I've just been playing FF7. Quiet one it seems.
But I'm looking forward to the next couple of months hugely. The good thing is, a lot of the people who I'll miss will still be nearby. What I'm wondering is - will things with aforementioned girl come to future fruition? Or will it remain a "Damn! Oh Well, c'et la vie" moment? Time will tell...
But again, this year will be my year...
Me out.
