1) I really admire Autor. He comes off as a bit of a snobbish creep when we first meet him, but it's really only because of his enthusiasm to play a huge role in the story, which I can understand. He proves to be a loyal companion to Fakir ( he saves his ass from bookman!), and was willing to SACRIFICE HIS LIFE for Rue. I can relate to his whole attitude of feeling like he has something important to do but no one will listen to him :-(. Plus the innuendo between him and Fakir is hilarious.
2) Autor deserves more credit than what the other characters give him. He was the one who helped Fakir discover his writing powers, and probably knows more about Drosselmeyer than anyone. He was key to starting the climax of the story. He may not possess the abilities that Fakir does, but he helps him out as much as he can. Autor had the potential to be a main character...
3) Oh yes, very much so. Autor and I are both rather dorky, and become obsessed with things very easily. We both wear glasses. We both play musical instruments. I can relate to him in the sense that, well, the feeling knowing that you're right and it is your duty to do something and no one will listen to you! When that happens, like Autor, I usually end up being the support, even if I feel it is not the role I am meant to play. Like Autor, I may strike people the wrong way and do awkward things at a first glance, but I'm really loyal and good underneath. I can also relate to Autor very much in the way of his "emotions that aren't fake", we both go through some secret pain.
4)Princess Tutu? I love it to pieces. It's right up there with oxygen XD I am not an active member of the fandom community, I have to admit.
5) I am a huge supporter of Autor's feelings for Rue. Christina, you already know a million reasons why. I feel that he was the best match for Rue and she was stupid to have not taken what he said seriously. They would be so perfect together, and he loves her so much! That one scene they have just intrigues me...if Autor's feelings didn't matter, why was it there? I also love the relationship between Fakir and Autor, but mostly as friends/partners. I crack!ship them for teh lolz.
6) I would prefer that he was in the anime more...
7) Autor and I would probably be BFF's. No seriously. Out of all the characters in Princess Tutu, I see myself getting along with him the best. But not in a romantic way, just as friends. We'd have plenty of things to rant and rave about XD. Plus, I love sketchy people.
8) Autor is definitely not one of my all time favorites, but I have a great deal of respect for him.
9) I'm not the biggest Autor fangirl, but if I were to explain the series to someone else, I would probably mention him. While watching the series, I'd probably be annoying and point out "REMEMBER HIM!" or when he's with Rue be screaming rubbish the whole time about love and relationships and symbolism XD.
10) Autor is not really popular in general in the Princess Tutu fanbase, but he does have some MAJOR obsessive fangirls (ahem...the one who requested this being the BIGGEST). Which is cool ^^. I think the fandom respects him in general, but doesn't really consider his role in the series. Newbies to Princess Tutu probably dismiss him as a creep, and that kind of upsets me.
