The hard parts of this semester are finally over. I had my second and last debate tonight, which I won despite failing to offer specifics in my plan - the other guy mentioned less specific than I did (I lost the first one by trying to be too clever in my argument). And yesterday I took the third of four tests in my astronomy class. Since the professor only uses 3 of the 4 tests to determine your grade, and I'm fairly certain I scored A's on those, I technically don't even have to watch the class broadcasts anymore. All that remains is to show up in debate class and take notes on other people's debate, then take a test. Cakewalk!
Doesn't look like I'll be moving over to State in the spring though, due to some technicalities about when you can complete certain requirements and such. I'm waiting to hear back on the possibility of a waiver, but it's a longshot. City is finally offering the Intro to Archaeology class I've been wanting to take at an almost reasonable hour next semester though (and it's transferable), so it's not all bad. I will have to work from 0600 to 1430 to make the 1500 class though, so it WILL suck a bit; I'm not best in the pre-dawn hours. The upshot though, is that since it's a spring class I'll be working those hours for, I'll be off work as the heat of the day comes on during the later months. So a little bonus there. Plus, y'know, archaeology. :)
