How I spent my spring vacation . . .

I learned several things this Spring Break:

1. Never leave a box of Girl Scout cookies on the kitchen counter for several hours unattended, especially when the family is around, especially if that box of cookies is not for your family.
2. Spring Break can and most likely will be more stressful than actually being at school.
3. There is not enough time to sleep over Spring Break.
4. There is a formula for picking out a person to sit with on the train, and it doesn't involve being told to join the circus, nor being told not to worry because I'm too young for the old man to hit on, and there is certainly no mention of politics or religion. This equation also does not include people who don't speak English or former Amtrak employees that think Amtrak is some glorious way to travel and can never be late; there is no lady who knows every celebrity and just plain everything ever, nor are there small children. A good seatmate is a female college student traveling to upstate New York (more or less so I can have the seat to myself for the better part of the ride).
5. If Thin Mints exist in my house, they'll not exist for long.
6. Eventually the anime takes over the entire CD case.
7. Fox movies about Robots can actually be halfway decent. Need I say plugs?
8. Doing homework over Spring Break is a joke.
9. Going to Barnes and Noble and then to the mall after not shopping for two months is not a good idea.
10. Bringing home fewer books than I went home with is damn near impossible.
10. Bringing back fewer clothes than I go home with is impossible.
11. Watching episode 25 of FMA when moody makes me have a very different reaction than I had the first time.
12. Watching FMA in English is very painful.
13. People at the High School make me very glad I'm no longer there.
14. Some of my friends are so utterly predictable they make me laugh.
15. There are intelligent people at UMass.
16. Window seats are not as comfortable as I thought. The aisle and the window seats both suck for one reason or another.
17. Listening to my family talk about the same thing every day gets really frickin obnoxious, even if I agree with most of what they say.
18. Being sick for all of Spring Break, and coming back sick is fun.

There are a bunch more things that I can't remember, but oh well . . . that's what happens when one takes two Benadryl.
