ITP: Explosions

[Today's a nice day, isn't it, Johto?
Yeah, Shinn's Gastly is recording things again as the Shinn and Raidou pair made their way through the Ilex Forest with bored looks, as well as actually not being lost for once, as Raidou is the one holding the map right now. Nothing much happens besides small talk between them about how scary Whitney i-, well actually its mostly about Shinn complaining about Whitney while Raidou just grunts his responses out.
...and then there's a small 'Gas!' that snapped both of them from their idle chatter.
The camera then turned to show a wounded Chikorita surrounded by glowing Pinecos, and judging from the glow... Yeah its not going to evolve anytime soon.
Now, while any sensible person just throws a Pokeball at the injured Chikorita to save it, Shinn is not exactly the paragon of sensibility when it comes to things like these.
Which was why he lunged at the Chikorita, and passed it over to Raidou, who rushed to catch it mid-air before...]
BOOM!
[aaand the Gear became staticky.]
