You're treated to Leon standing before a woman that looks suspiciously like him, dressed in a maid's outfit. Her hands are over her mouth, her eyes wide and she's shaking like she's just seen a ghost.
"Marian, I'm- I've... returned," his voice sounds tentative, almost weak. How should he face her after so long?
"Emi- Leon...! I didn't think-" she's on the verge of tears, taking timid a step closer to him. Unsure if what she's seeing is real or just her mind playing tricks on her. If she reaches out, will he disappear? She can't bear the thought, and without warning closes the distance between them, bringing him into a tight embrace that he wasn't expecting.
But still, his arms raise to return the hug, his face reddening a little. Because he's simply not used to this sort of contact with Marian, but it feels... nice.
"I thought I'd never see you again! I waited so long for you come back to me, but you- Why did you stay away?"
He seems to be struggling with a proper answer, doesn't want to tell her the truth of how he died.
"Marian, I... I had things that I needed to take care of, that I needed to resolve. But it's over now. Stahn told you I'd come back, didn't he? He wouldn't... He wouldn't lie to you."
"Of course, you're right- You wouldn't have a friend like that. I knew you'd come, if only I just kept waiting. As long as I had faith in you, you'd return to me. You won't... You won't leave again, will you?"
"Y-yeah... I'm here to stay. Don't worry, Marian."
"Leon-! I'm so glad."
