We watched it go down in the student union on the big screen, when he won people were jumping up and down and screaming and hugging each other. I wanted to riot, I'm serious, I was so excited, lighting a trash can on fire really would have expressed my joy. But Fiz was keeping his excitement on the down low. He confessed that though he was glad he was skeptical and worse worried about Obama. Keeping his fingers crossed that everything goes smoothly until January. There was a good deal of bitching about the electoral college too.
I took it as a moment of victory the likes of which I didn't believe would happen and which I have never seen.
