It just doesn't make sense to me. I'm not a scientist or a magician or whatever they do to make the barrier so I interpret it into something I can understand.

Even hearing it like that, the logic still doesn't line up. If they can take away and reduce powers and lock people up, why can't they handle a simple barrier?
