Since the barriers went down, I've seen a lot of different reactions about what to about it. The more immediate concern should be dealing with the creatures that have been spotted. No one will be able to do anything if they start to gain ground within the city ( Read more... )

Why not just take one down, tie it up, and try to get information on it that way?

Depends on the nature of the creature. They might have a hive mentality and refuse to tell anything, even in death. I'd rather see what they are capable of when they think they are in control and not being watched, than when they are tied up and powerless.

[Taking his time because Yuri doesn't really believe in being punctual, Yuri eventually makes his way to the Square, just strolling along, sword hanging from a ribbon that he held. As usual. Looking around for Suzaku]

[Suzaku on the other hand, doesn't like waiting any longer than he has to in situations like these. He's in the square but he's already dived into the thick of things. There's a loud hiss and then an even louder screech as Suzaku rams his sword through one of the harpies.]

[Watches for a bit, very impressed with Suzaku's skill. But that little moment is over as he rushes straight into battle as well, eyes gleaming excitedly. He leaps into the air and slashes down on a particularly low-flying harpy.]

I was starting to think you were going to miss out on all the fun.

[Another harpy came at him and Suzaku stepped off to the side, causing it to whiz by him. Spins around a second late and slams his elbow into his spine.

Yuri wasn't the only one who was impressed at the moment. Watches Yuri for a moment before preparing to take on another fury. ]

[Suzaku's fighting style is a combination of military training and ridiculousness. Because really, for a guy who is suppose to be a regular ol' human, his reflexes and physical feats are outlandish.]

After we finish with this group, we need to go to their territory and see what they are doing there.

Not yet, but I figured we could follow one of the injured creatures back. They might have some intelligence, but I doubt they have enough to think about covering their tracks.
